Metrology for Quantum Hardware Standardization—Charting a Pathway: A Strategic Review

open access: yesIEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Volume 21, Issue 9, Page 1282-1296, September 2026.
Advances in quantum mechanics have long underpinned metrology by enabling practical realizations of units through quantum effects. With the 2019 SI revision, traceability is anchored in defined fundamental constants, reinforcing the quantum‐mechanical basis of modern standards. In parallel, quantum technologies are transitioning from laboratory science

FinTech and Bank Efficiency in China: Evidence From a Dynamic Network Perspective

open access: yesInternational Review of Finance, Volume 26, Issue 3, September 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper examines whether and through which channels financial technology (FinTech) development improves the efficiency of commercial banks. We adopt a meso‐level perspective by measuring external FinTech exposure with two complementary indicators: industry‐level innovation intensity (FinTech‐related Bank Technology Development Awards) and ...

Synthetic Sinapates: Antifungal, Molecular Docking, and ADMET Studies

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT The increasing incidence of diseases resulting from fungal infections is due to the high morbidity and mortality associated with these microorganisms. Sinapic acid is a plant‐derived phenolic compound with antifungal activity. Therefore, in this study, a collection of eleven sinapates (1‐11) was prepared and the antifungal activity of these ...

Single‐Particle Insights Into the Electronic Structure and Enhanced Stability of CsPbBr3/FAPbBr3 Core/Crown Nanoplatelets at the Nanometer Scale

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 44, 7 August 2026.
Single‐particle‐level investigation using scanning tunneling spectroscopy reveals electronic structure and type‐I band alignment of individual CsPbBr3@FAPbBr3 core‐crown nanoplatelet. Crown passivation suppresses deep trap states by 47% and markedly improves electrical stability under repeated bias sweeps.

Hot Injection Synthesis of Ultrathin Bi2Se3 Nanosheets With Controllable Dimensions

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 10, Issue 15, 7 August 2026.
Graphic of hot‐injection method for synthesizing Bi2Se3${\rm Bi}_2{\rm Se}_3$ nanoplatelets of controlled shape, thickness, and lateral size. The ultra‐thin regime is achievable, which is interesting for studying topological phase transitions. ABSTRACT In this work, a synthesis method for colloidal nanoplatelets (NPLs) of the topological insulator ...

Band‐Engineered Encapsulation of Lead‐Free Halide Perovskite Nanoplatelets for Multifunctional Aqueous Photocatalysis

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
Moisture‐stable Cs3Bi2I9 photocatalyst panels were engineered by integrating type‐I Ag2S and type‐II TiO2 protective heterojunctions with tailored band alignment. Ag2S promotes carrier localization for enhanced CO2 photoreduction, whereas TiO2 facilitates charge separation for Cr (VI) reduction. The multifunctional panels suppress water ingress, retain
