Deep Trap Management in Organic Persistent Luminescence for Multi‐Mode Optical Information Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
The D‐A‐D wedge‐shaped TADF emitter TCN, featuring a strong electron‐accepting segment, is employed as the guest of an organic trap‐induced persistent luminescence system, enabling multi‐mode excitation, and stimulation forms, deep trap, low aggregation‐induced quenching effect, and high thermal stability.

Helical Ladder Oligomers Exhibit Amplified Circularly Polarized Emission

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
The discovery that a multi‐helicene system based on a series of annulated [6]helicenes and perylenediimides, exhibits larger‐than‐linear amplification of glum with helicene length is described. It is also observed large enhanced fluorescent quantum yields and large extinction coefficients for this length series.

Enabling low Threshold Laser Through an Asymmetric Tetramer Metasurface Harnessing Polarization‐Independent Quasi‐BICs

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Light impinging from the left on a metasurface composed by active material. The metasurface shows asymmetric configuration through the non‐uniform presence of holes. The forming quasi‐BICs modes are exploited for lasing purposes. Abstract It is proposed and numerically demonstrated a novel strategy to achieve lasing generation from a dual‐band symmetry‐

The Importance of Metal Ion Impurity Bands in the Photoluminescence of Halide Double Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Many publications have associated emission spectral features of double perovskite halides in the region at 460–470 nm with “pristine” materials. This leads to not only false observations but also incorrect conclusions concerning the transformation of dark into bright excitons or boosting self‐trapped exciton emission.

High‐Fidelity Information Transmission Through the Turbulent Atmosphere Utilizing Partially Coherent Cylindrical Vector Beams

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
A novel free‐space optical communication protocol that combines the benefits of partially coherent light sources with the decoding capabilities of convolutional neural networks is proposed. This approach establishes a robust communication link that can withstand atmospheric turbulence.
