Team-Communication Modeling Framework for Multi-Unit Nuclear Power Plant Accident Analysis

open access: yesApplied Sciences
A multi-unit nuclear accident is an accident that damages the nuclear core and occurs in multiple units simultaneously in a nuclear power plant. Its massive consequences have triggered extensive studies on accident prevention and mitigation.

Role of selenium in the pathophysiology of cardiorenal anaemia syndrome

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 770-780, April 2025.
Abstract Chronic kidney disease (CKD) and cardiovascular disease (CVD) have multiple bidirectional mechanisms, and anaemia is one of the critical factors that are associated with the progression of the two disorders [referred to as cardiorenal anaemia syndrome (CRAS)].

Les normes internationales à l’épreuve du local : les maires à Fukushima après l’accident nucléaire

open access: yesSocio-anthropologie
The environmental and health consequences of a nuclear accident are managed within an international normative and regulatory framework. This is the legacy of standardisation processes led by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the ...

Infrared Irradiation‐Assisted Pd/Cu Catalysis for Sustainable C–N Cross‐Coupling Reactions

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
A combined Pd/Cu catalytic system is demonstrated to be highly effective in promoting infrared irradiation‐assisted Buchwald–Hartwig aminations under nonanhydrous and open‐air conditions, using only a stoichiometric amount of a green reaction solvent.

From a Probabilistic PBEE Framework to Risk‐Targeted Structural Design With Cascading Hazards: Engineering Application for Seismic–Radiological Safety

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Earthquake‐induced damage of structures can trigger cascading hazards, linking structural performance to nonstructural consequences. In current engineering practice, these two aspects are typically addressed separately, limiting the ability to account for such coupled effects in design.
