Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay, the Inverted Hierarchy and Precision Determination of theta(12) [PDF]
Ruling out the inverted neutrino hierarchy with neutrinoless double beta decay experiments is possible if a limit on the effective mass below the minimal theoretically possible value is reached.

Partial level density of the n-quasiparticle excitations in the nuclei of the 39< A <201 region
Level density and radiative strength functions are obtained from the analysis of two-step cascades intensities following the thermal neutrons capture. The data on level density are approximated by the sum of the partial level densities corresponding to n

A Simple In Situ Marker Guiding Shape‐Controlled Synthesis of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles
The use of a simple, in situ temperature marker of particle formation is demonstrated for the thermal decomposition of iron oleate. The marker reveals a relationship between the onset of particle formation, the concentration of surfactants, and the shape of the particles that corroborates a chemically activated burst nucleation.

What can we learn from neutrinoless double beta decay experiments? [PDF]
We assess how well next generation neutrinoless double beta decay and normal neutrino beta decay experiments can answer four fundamental questions. 1) If neutrinoless double beta decay searches do not detect a signal, and if the spectrum is known to be ...

VHR/DUSP3 phosphatase: structure, function and regulation
VHR/DUSP3 is a small dual specificity phosphatase with a preference for phospho‐tyrosine substrates. It plays important roles in cellular signaling and has been implicated in several human cancers both with tumor suppressing and oncogenic roles. We give here a detailed overview of VHR/DUSP3 and compare it to its most closely related phosphatases ...

The Majorana neutrino masses, neutrinoless double beta decay and nuclear matrix elements
The effective Majorana neutrino mass is evaluated by using the latest results of neutrino oscillation experiments. The problems of the neutrino mass spectrum, absolute mass scale of neutrinos and the effect of CP phases are addressed.

Neutrino Induced Charged Current 1$\pi^+$ Production At Intermediate Energies [PDF]
The charged current one pion production induced by $\nu_\mu$ from nucleons and nuclei like $^{12}$C and $^{16}$O nuclei has been studied. The calculations have been done for the incoherent and the coherent processes from nuclear targets assuming the ...
