A Facile Platform for One‐Step Generation of Uniform Microdroplets through Dehydration‐Driven Phase Separation in Microfluidics

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 10, Issue 2, 22 January 2026.
This study introduces a novel droplet generation method that exploits the intrinsic water absorption of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) microchannels. A homogeneous polyethylene glycol/dextran mixture is gradually dehydrated, leading to phase separation and the formation of uniform DEX‐rich droplets.

Smart Aggregation of DNA Nanostructures in Living Cells

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
DNA nanostructures, with unparalleled programmability and intelligence, serve as promising materials for constructing intracellular artificial aggregates. Recent strategies in constructing DNA aggregations in living cells, along with applications in cellular biosensing and functional regulation, are summarized. Self‐aggregation processes are ubiquitous

Nucleolus organizer regions in domestic horse (Equus caballus L.)

open access: yes, 1981

Exploring the Impact of In Ovo Injection of Flavonoid‐Based Aromatase Inhibitors on Gonadal Histology Differentiation in Ross 308 Broiler Chickens

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 1, January 2026.
This study aimed to evaluate the in ovo injection of nettle extract, mushroom extract and their mixture as natural anti‐aromatase on sex reversal, histological changes in ovaries and testes and carcass characteristics of Ross 308 broiler chickens. Sex differentiation in avian species A completely randomized block design used to allocate 500 fertilized ...

Oocyte Age‐Dependent DNA Damage Can Be Reverted by the DNA Repair Competent Karyoplasm of Young Oocytes

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 1, January 2026.
As females age, oocyte chromosomal aberrations and DNA damage increase in frequency; this condition is believed to be irreversible. By exposing the aged oocyte nuclei to nuclear factors from young oocytes, the negative effects can be effectively suppressed, restoring their developmental competence. ABSTRACT Mammalian fully grown oocytes are believed to

Hemangioblastoma of the Kidney—A Comprehensive Clinical, Pathological, and Genetic Analysis of Four Cases

open access: yesAPMIS, Volume 134, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Hemangioblastoma (HB) is a benign central nervous system (CNS) tumor associated with mutations in the von Hippel–Lindau (VHL) gene. Although rare outside the CNS, the pathological and genetic features remain poorly understood. We analyzed four renal hemangioblastomas (RHB). Demographics, clinical presentation, and follow‐up data were collected.
