Biosafety of Recombinant and Wild Type Nucleopolyhedroviruses as Bioinsecticides [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, 2007
The entomopathogenic Autographa californica (Speyer) nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcMNPV) has been genetically modified to increase its speed of kill. The potential adverse effects of a recombinant AcMNPV (AcAaIT) as well as wild type AcMNPV and wild type Spodoptera littoralis NPV (SlNPV) were studied.
