The formation of stable clusters of gold nanoparticles with oligonucleotides at different solution conditions is explored. DNA base homogeneity and strand directionality influence the binding with gold nanoparticles leading to interesting clustering behavior that can be relevant for SERS applications.

The impact of different assembly strategies is discussed on the performance of nanoscale aptamer‐based SWCNT‐FET biosensors. The single‐layer RCP‐Chip enables rapid, multiplexed detection of SARS‐CoV‐2 RNA using RT‐LAMP and gold nanoparticle‐enhanced colorimetric readouts. After sample loading, amplification occurs within radially arranged chambers, allowing simultaneous detection of E and N genes.
