Diverity and taxonomy of Goniobranchus nudibranchs
The genus Goniobranchus Pease, 1866 is a well-supported monophyletic clade that consists of 57 species and they have an ovoid body shape and have different mantle glands underneath their mantle. Certain Goniocranchus species are highly variable in their gross external morphology and this is notably observed in the red-reticulate Goniobranchus spp.
