High dimensional nuisance parameters: an example from parametric survival analysis
Parametric statistical problems involving both large amounts of data and models with many parameters raise issues that are explicitly or implicitly differential geometric.

Conditional Inference with a Functional Nuisance Parameter [PDF]
This paper shows that the problem of testing hypotheses in moment condition models without any assumptions about identification may be considered as a problem of testing with an infinite-dimensional nuisance parameter. We introduce a sufficient statistic for this nuisance parameter and propose conditional tests.

Redatuming physical systems using symmetric autoencoders
This paper considers physical systems described by hidden states and indirectly observed through repeated measurements corrupted by unmodeled nuisance parameters.

Identifying Individual Camera Device From RAW Images
This paper investigates the problem of identifying the individual imaging device source of the same model from a natural image in RAW format. We propose an enhanced Poissonian-Gaussian model describing the distribution of pixels from a RAW image.

Analysis of comparable academic performance: panel logistic regression model
Conditional logistic regression model is fitted to data of student academic performance. This enables one to compare difficulties of different examinations and to identify related factors.

Noise nuisance is a complex problem of modern cities, which has objective, measurable parameters as well, but there is an “experienced”, subjectively perceived phenomenon for the individuals and society for the disturbing effect of noise.

Accounting for baryonic effects in cosmic shear tomography: determining a minimal set of nuisance parameters using PCA [PDF]
Systematic uncertainties that have been subdominant in past large-scale structure (LSS) surveys are likely to exceed statistical uncertainties of current and future LSS data sets, potentially limiting the extraction of cosmological information.

Finite Sample Bernstein -- von Mises Theorem for Semiparametric Problems [PDF]
The classical parametric and semiparametric Bernstein -- von Mises (BvM) results are reconsidered in a non-classical setup allowing finite samples and model misspecification. In the case of a finite dimensional nuisance parameter we obtain an upper bound
