Universally measurable sets in generic extensions [PDF]
A subset of a topological space is said to be \emph{universally measurable} if it is measured by the completion of each countably additive $\sigma$-finite Borel measure on the space, and \emph{universally null} if it has measure zero for each such ...

Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.

Ecological patterns of blood-feeding by kissing-bugs (Hemiptera: Reduviidae: Triatominae)
Host use by vectors is important in understanding the transmission of zoonotic diseases, which can affect humans, wildlife and domestic animals. Here, a synthesis of host exploitation patterns by kissing-bugs, vectors of Chagas disease, is presented. For

Ensembles based on the Rich-Club and how to use them to build soft-communities [PDF]
16 pages, 5 figures16 pages, 5 figures16 pages, 5 figuresEnsembles of networks are used as null-models to discriminate network structures. We present an efficient algorithm, based on the maximal entropy method to generate network ensembles defined by the

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

``Good Propagation'' Constraints on Dual Invariant Actions in Electrodynamics and on Massless Fields [PDF]
We present some consequences of non-anomalous propagation requirements on various massless fields. Among the models of nonlinear electrodynamics we show that only Maxwell and Born-Infeld also obey duality invariance.

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Bitcoin Transaction Networks: An Overview of Recent Results
Cryptocurrencies are distributed systems that allow exchanges of native (and non-) tokens between participants. The availability of the complete historical bookkeeping opens up an unprecedented possibility: that of understanding the evolution of a ...
