Classification of the nullity for the second order discrete nonlocal problems
In this paper we investigate the nullity of second order discrete problem with two nonlocal conditions. The classification of nullity with respect to rows and columns of discrete problem matrix is presented. The research was partially supported by the

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

The Nullity Theorem for Principal Pivot Transform
We generalize the nullity theorem of Gustafson [Linear Algebra Appl. (1984)] from matrix inversion to principal pivot transform. Several special cases of the obtained result are known in the literature, such as a result concerning local complementation ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Consumers as Unassisted Minors: Asymmetrical Sanction for Unfair Contract Terms
The consumer distance contract regulated within the European Union was compared to the Roman law solution known by its medieval name as negotium claudicans, thus to the contract with unassisted pupilli (children under the age of puberty, i.e., minors ...

Sewing cells in almost cosymplectic and almost Kenmotsu geometry [PDF]
For a finite family of 3-dimensional almost contact metric manifolds with closed the structure form $\eta$ is described a construction of an almost contact metric manifold, where the members of the family are building blocks - cells.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
