Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Action for nullity

open access: yes, 2023

Nullity of Marriage in Modern Hindu Law. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1965
The first Chapter investigates the question: whether nullity existed in the dharmasastra. Chapter Two is concerned with bigamy as ground for nullity. The essential requirements to obtain relief where either party has a spouse living at the time of the ...

The structure of the homogeneous Riemannian manifolds with nullity [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
We find new conditions that the existence of nullity of the curvature tensor of an irreducible homogeneous space M=G/H imposes on the Lie algebra g of G and on the Lie algebra g of the full isometry group of M.

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

On the nullity of a graph with cut-points

open access: yesLinear Algebra and its Applications, 2012
Let G be a simple graph of order n and A(G) be its adjacency matrix. The nullity of a graph G, denoted by η(G), is the multiplicity of the eigenvalue zero in the spectrum of A(G). Denote by Ck and Lk the set of all connected graphs with k induced cycles and the set of line graphs of all graphs in Ck, respectively. In 1998, Sciriha [I.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

On the nullity of unicyclic graphs

open access: yes, 2005
The nullity of a graph is the multiplicity of the eigenvalue zero in its spectrum. In this paper, we obtain the nullity set of n-vertex unicyclic graphs, and characterize the unicyclic graphs with extremal ...

Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 regulates cell adhesion and membrane protrusive activity of ovarian cancer cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Matrix metalloproteinase‐9 (MMP9) drives ovarian cancer progression. Using MMP9‐null cells (M9‐KO) created from ovarian cancer cells, we found MMP9 loss did not block Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF)‐driven E‐cadherin dissolution or EMT but delayed and reduced EGF‐driven membrane protrusions. Transient MMP9 re‐expression drove membrane protrusion.
