Circular Dammann grating under high numerical aperture focusing
Applied Optics, 2012Circular Dammann grating (CDG) under high numerical aperture (NA) focusing is described based on Richards-Wolf vectorial diffraction theory in this paper. Several CDGs are presented under the condition of NA=0.9 with the illumination of circularly polarized plane-wave laser beams.

High numerical aperture line scanning system
SPIE Proceedings, 2007In order to scan a line, the scanning optics usually employs either NSG's SELFOC lens or a 1:1 lenslet array. Each of these two methods has its limitation. The SELFOC lens' numerical aperture (NA) is low, which limits its light-collection efficiency.

3D Printed Optics and Additive Photonic Manufacturing IVWe present the development and evaluation of metalenses fabricated with the two-photon polymerization-based 3D nanoprinting technology. In our design, we investigated a periodic lattice of multilevel nanopillars, based on the natural ellipsoidal shape of the 3D voxel in the fabrication process.
