Bayesian Probabilistic Numerical Methods [PDF]
The emergent field of probabilistic numerics has thus far lacked clear statistical principals. This paper establishes Bayesian probabilistic numerical methods as those which can be cast as solutions to certain inverse problems within the Bayesian framework.

Numerical Methods for Simultaneous Diagonalization
SIAM Journal on Matrix Analysis and Applications, 1993A Jacobi-type algorithm is introduced for the simultaneous diagonalization of commuting pairs of complex normal matrices. The algorithm is based on a sequence of similarity transformations by elementary complex rotations. Quadratic convergence and numerical stability are verified.
