A Numerical Method for Solving Stochastic Volterra-Fredholm Integral Equation

open access: yesIranian Journal of Mathematical Sciences and Informatics, 2023
Summary: In this paper, we propose a numerical method based on the generalized hat functions (GHFs) and improved hat functions (IHFs) to find numerical solutions for stochastic Volterra-Fredholm integral equation. To do so, all known and unknown functions are expanded in terms of basic functions and replaced in the original equation.

CPX‐351 in High‐Risk Relapsed Pediatric Acute Leukemia: Real‐World Phase 1 Data Establishing the FDA‐Approved Dose

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Outcomes for pediatric relapsed/refractory (R/R) acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remain dismal. CPX‐351, a liposomal formulation of cytarabine and daunorubicin, may have less off‐target toxicities than traditional chemotherapies and has shown improved outcomes for adults with newly diagnosed therapy‐related AML.

Incidence and Risk Factors of Serious Osteonecrosis in Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia: A CYP‐C Population‐Based Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Osteonecrosis (ON) is a debilitating complication of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) therapy. While numerous studies have explored its incidence and associated risk factors, investigations using large‐scale cohorts remain important to characterize ON across heterogeneous populations.

A numerical boundary integral equation method for elastodynamics. I [PDF]

open access: yes, 1978
The boundary initial value problems of elastodynamics are formulated as boundary integral equations. It is shown that these integral equations may be solved by time-stepping numerical methods for the unknown boundary values.

Fast algorithms for Quadrature by Expansion I: Globally valid expansions

open access: yes, 2017
The use of integral equation methods for the efficient numerical solution of PDE boundary value problems requires two main tools: quadrature rules for the evaluation of layer potential integral operators with singular kernels, and fast algorithms for ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Numerical solution of nonlinear stochastic Itô–Volterra integral equation by stochastic modified hat function operational matrices

open access: yesResults in Applied Mathematics, 2022
In this article, we present a numerical method to approximate for solving nonlinear Stochastic Itô–Volterra integral equations. This method is based on the modification of hat functions (MHFs) that introduce an operational matrix of integration.
