Operational quadrature methods for Wiener-Hopf integral equations
We study the numerical solution of Wiener-Hopf integral equations by a class of quadrature methods which lead to discrete Wiener-Hopf equations, with quadrature weights constructed from the Fourier transform of the kernel (or rather, from the Laplace ...

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Versatile vector tools for efficient protein screening across multiple expression systems
A unified vector toolkit enables rapid protein expression screening across E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. A single primer pair amplifies the target gene, which is inserted into any vector via a standardized interface. This streamlined workflow eliminates repeated cloning steps, accelerating the identification of optimal expression conditions for

Stress–singularity analysis in space junctions of thin plates
The stress singularity in space junctions of thin linearly elastic isotropic plate elements with zero bending rigidities is investigated. The problem for an intersection of infinite wedge-shaped elements is considered first and the solution for each ...

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Modal analysis of acoustically-loaded structures via integral equation methods
In this paper a numerical method for determining the modal properties of a structure in contact with an acoustic medium is explored. The acoustic field is reformulated as an integral equation.

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Application of integral transforms to boundary layer problems
It is shown that integral transforms provide a framework for dealing with integral methods and integral relations methods in a unified way. They provide an alternate way of describing the behavior near point of zero skin friction. They also lead to exact
