Numerical solution of the eXtended Pom-Pom model for viscoelastic free surface flows
In this paper we present a finite difference method for solving two-dimensional viscoelastic unsteady free surface flows governed by the single equation version of the eXtended Pom-Pom (XPP) model. The momentum equations are solved by a projection method

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

ANALYSIS OF TWO CLASSES OF CROSS DIFFUSION SYSTEMS [PDF]
A mathematical and numerical analysis has been carried out for two cross diffusion systems arising in applied mathematics. The first system appears in modelling the movement of two interacting cell populations whose kinetics are of competition type.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Forward and Adjoint Calculations of Gravitational Potential in Heterogeneous, Aspherical Planets
We have developed a computational package for the calculation of numerically exact internal and external gravitational potential, its functional derivatives and sensitivity kernels, in an aspherical, heterogeneous planet.

Terminal conditions as efficent instruments for numerical detection of the saddlepoint paths: a linear algebra non-robustness argument. [PDF]
In this paper, we address a criticism against the usual prescriptions on the introduction of terminal conditions as the principal numerical instruments for detecting the saddlepoint solutions of consistent expectations models. The argumentation is purely
