Neural Patterns of Social Pain in the Brain‐Wide Representations Across Social Contexts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Empathy arises from both physiological and social pain, yet their shared and context‐specific neural mechanisms remain unclear. Combining fMRI and multivariate pattern analysis, this study decodes overlapping empathy networks and distinct representations for social exclusion versus separation.

The Semi‐Natural Climate Chambers across Latitudes: A Broadly Applicable Husbandry and Experimental System for Terrestrial Ectotherms under Climate Change

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Assessing species' vulnerabilities across geographical gradients is essential for biodiversity conservation under climate change. To address this challenge, the semi‐natural climate chamber across latitudes (SCCAL) is developed, a validated system capable of simulating thermal environments for ecological experiments without reliance on water or ...

Efficient Photothermoelectric Conversion of CSS@BP/Bi2Te3 Array for Innovative Aircraft Attitude Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A chloroplast‐like CSS@BP composite with superior photothermoelectric conversion performance is synthesized via sonochemical methods. A portable Attitude Recognition Box (ARB) incorporating a CSS@BP/Bi2Te3 photothermal conversion array is developed, which achieves precise attitude recognition through bidirectional current detection induced by ...

A Hollow Shell‐Lattice Soft Robot in Flexible Pipelines with Flowing Fluids

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study proposes a novel shell‐lattice robot with hollow bodies, capable of crawling through pipes with flowing fluids of high velocities and viscosities and mixed with impurities. The robot also features capabilities of crawling with high payloads, in curved pipes, and unthethered crawling. These unique properties make this robot high promising for
