NePO: Neural Point Octrees for Large‐Scale Novel View Synthesis
Computer Graphics Forum, EarlyView. We introduce Neural Point Octrees (NePOs), a scalable radiance field representation that organises point clouds hierarchically for efficient optimisation and rendering of large scale scenes. NePOs enable level of detail selection, joint refinement of appearance and camera poses, and real‐time rendering of hundreds of millions of points.Noah Lewis, Darius Rückert, Marc Stamminger, Linus Franke +3 morewiley +1 more sourceMulti‐Spectral Gaussian Splatting with Neural Color Representation
Computer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.Abstract
3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) [KKLD23] has transformed novel‐view synthesis from RGB images, yet remains restricted to the visible spectrum. Many applications, including agricultural monitoring, rely on multi‐spectral imaging, where spectral camera alignment and scalability pose major challenges.Lukas Meyer, Josef Grün, Maximilian Weiherer, Bernhard Egger, Marc Stamminger, Linus Franke +5 morewiley +1 more sourceHigh‐Gloss SVBRDF Capture Using Bounce Light
Computer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.Abstract
Reflectance capture aims at the visual reproduction of an object under varying illumination. Past works differ substantially in their experimental overhead, from single‐ or few‐image approaches, that employ significant (often learned) priors at the expense of biased reconstructions, to more accurate approaches that tend to be time‐consuming ...Tomáš Iser, Andrei‐Timotei Ardelean, Tim Weyrich +2 morewiley +1 more sourcePatch Test Results With the European Baseline Series, 2021/2022—Joint European Results of the ESSCAA and the EBSB Working Groups of the ESCD, and the GEIDACC
Contact Dermatitis, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Background
Patch test results obtained with the European Baseline Series (EBS) in its current version serve both contact allergy surveillance and (re‐)assessing the diagnostic value of EBS allergens. Objectives
To present results of current EBS patch testing, obtained in 59 departments in 14 European countries during 2021 and 2022.Wolfgang Uter, S. Regional Science Policy &Practice, EarlyView., 2023 Abstract
This paper analyses the entire wage effects of unemployment for an especially long observation period. In a three‐step approach, the wage reaction at the national level (wage‐setting curve or aggregate wage equation) is added to the reaction at the regional level (wage curve). Spatial models with instrumental variables are used.Uwe Blien, Jan Mutl, Phan thi Hong Van, Katja Wolf +3 morewiley +1 more sourceInflammation significantly alters mucosal transcriptomic signatures in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease. Contact Dermatitis, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Background
Allergens are periodically added to the European Baseline Series (EBS) to audit their value in consecutive patch testing. Objectives
To present results of audit allergens tested in consecutive patients in 54 departments in 13 European countries during 2021 and 2022.Wolfgang Uter, Stephen Mark Wilkinson, Andrea Bauer, Leopoldo Borrego, Richard Brans, Timo Buhl, Heinrich Dickel, Rosella Gallo, Ana Giménez Arnau, Margarida Gonçalo, Dimitra Koumaki, Alexander A.
