Worldwide nut production has expanded rapidly in recent years with a corresponding increase in consumption. Large outbreaks of salmonellosis have been associated with nuts and their products during this same time period, which has resulted in a major shift in the approach used to process these products.

According to Webster’s 3rd New International Dictionary, nuts are hard-shelled, dry fruit or seed, having a more or less distinct rind or shell and an interior kernel. Popular nomenclature includes the peanut, which is in reality a legume whose pods grow underground. In general, they are characterized by a high oil content. An exception is the chestnut,

NUT is a programming system for knowledge-based programming with facilities for automatic program synthesis. The system allows to specify computational problems in OO style. Concepts and objects can be treated in NUT as functional constraint networks. Constraint satisfaction problems are solved using algorithms for automatic program synthesis described

If the Sperm Whale be physiognomically a Sphinx, to the phrenologist his brain seems that geometrical circle which it is impossible to square. In the full-grown creature the skull will measure at least twenty feet in length.

AbstractThis study in projective geometry reveals that the principle of duality applies to the screw. Here, the screw is demonstrated to be an element of a projective three‐dimensional space (P3), right alongside the line. Dual elements for the screw and line are also revealed (the nut and spline).
