Signatures of the Martian rotation parameters in the Doppler and range observables
The position of a Martian lander is affected by different aspects of Mars' rotational motions: the nutations, the precession, the length-of-day variations and the polar motion.

Abstract Mobile technologies have become significant resources for crisis communication and social support in recent years. However, despite empirical evidence pointing to the centrality of these technologies for parenthood in everyday life, it is yet unknown how parents' coping resources play a role in the digital environment.

Mass asymmetry and tricyclic wobble motion assessment using automated launch video analysis
This paper describes an approach to identify epicyclic and tricyclic motion during projectile flight caused by mass asymmetries in spin-stabilized projectiles.

Objective The evidence regarding adherence to dietary patterns and Parkinson's disease (PD) risk is inconsistent. Because of the long prodromal PD phase, reverse causation represents a major threat to investigations of diet in relation to PD. We examined whether adherence to the Mediterranean (MED) and Mediterranean‐Dietary Approaches to Stop ...

Quadrupole Nutation NMR in Solids
Abstract The nutation frequency of a quadrupolar spin I depends on the quadrupole interaction. From nutation spectra, therefore, one obtains information about the direct surrounding of the atom. The theory of the straightforward and of more complicated nutation NMR experiments is outlined.

Objective Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) can drastically impair one's ability to work and interferes with activities of daily living. We recently demonstrated that, in rodents, conditioning electrical stimulation (CES) delivered to the nerve 7 days prior to surgery imparts a conditioning lesion‐like effect by accelerating the rate of regeneration along ...

Testing a satellite automatic nutation control system [PDF]
Testing of a particular nutation control system for the synchronous meteorological satellite (SMS) is described. The test method and principles are applicable to nutation angle control for other satellites with similar requirements.

Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI‐MS) combined with thermodynamic modeling provides the first direct characterization of radium speciation in synthetic gastrointestinal biofluids. Free Ra2+ ions predominate with minimal protein binding and negligible EDTA complexation. Crown ethers enable effective Ra complexation.
