Nutation in Space and Diurnal Nutation in the Case of an Elastic Earth [PDF]
Symposium - International Astronomical Union, 1979 In order to improve the representation of nutation, the effect of elasticity of the Earth on the nutation in space and diurnal nutation of the terrestrial rotation axis is considered and its amplitude is evaluated for the principal terms. The choice between several methods taking this effect into account is discussed.

Grip and Grasp: Lizard Claw Inspired Robotic Manipulators
Advanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.Our study identifies the most effective lizard claw shape for use as an end effector in a bioinspired robotic manipulator. By examining key geometric features and combining them into comparative indices, the Crotaphytus collaris claw is found to be the best fit.

Advanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.This study introduces a type of inflatable fabric‐based kirigami actuator capable of performing bending motion. The actuator is utilized as soft grippers, a crawling robot and a swimming robot. The crawling robot demonstrated extraordinary motion capabilities, such as moving forward, turning and navigating a narrow tunnel.
