In vivo 5‐fluorouracil and fluoronucleotide T1 relaxation time measurements using the variable nutation angle method [PDF]

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, 2004
Abstract19Fluorine NMRS has the potential to enable noninvasive predictions of tumor response to 5‐fluorouracil (5FU) therapy based on tumor pharmacokinetics. Knowledge of the T1's of 5FU and its fluoronucleotide anabolites (FNuc) is required for quantitative spectral analysis and selection of optimal pulse parameters.

Effects of Installation Error on Tooth Surface Contact Characteristic of a Nutation Drive with Double Circular-arc Spiral Bevel Gear

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2021
The contact characteristics of a nutation drive with double circular-arc spiral bevel gears are extremely sensitive to installation errors. To reveal the effects of installation errors on contact characteristics, the tooth surface contact analysis of ...

ON THE DYNAMICS OF DUAL-SPIN SPACECRAFT CONTAINING A NUTATION DAMPER

open access: yesJournal of Engineering
The dynamics of dual-spin spacecraft which containing a proposed nutation damper which consisting of a ring totally filled with a viscous liquid with offset center, to improve damping, is investigated. The equations of motion were developed using Newton-

Determination of optimal angles for variable nutation proton magnetic spin‐lattice, T1, and spin‐spin, T2, relaxation times measurement [PDF]

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, 2003
AbstractT1 and T2 can be rapidly determined with a combination of multiangle spoiled gradient recalled echo (SPGR) and steady‐state free precession (SSFP) imaging. Previously, we demonstrated a simple method for determining the set of SPGR and SSFP angles that provided greater T1 and T2 precision than a set of uniformly spaced angles. In this article a

Usefulness of the Delay Alternating with Nutation for Tailored Excitation Pulse with T1-Weighted Sampling Perfection with Application-Optimized Contrasts Using Different Flip Angle Evolution in the Detection of Cerebral Metastases: Comparison with MPRAGE Imaging [PDF]

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Neuroradiology, 2019
Contrast-enhanced T1-weighted sampling perfection with application-optimized contrasts by using different flip angle evolution (SPACE) with the delay alternating with nutation for tailored excitation (DANTE) pulse could suppress the blood flow signal and provide a higher contrast-to-noise ratio of enhancing lesion-to-brain parenchyma than the MPRAGE ...

3-D Micro-Motion Features Estimation of Smooth Symmetric Nutating Cone Based on Monostatic Radar

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Micro-motion features of targets, such as nutation and coning, play a crucial role in radar-based target recognition and classification. This paper addresses the challenge of extracting three-dimensional micro-motion parameters from smooth symmetric ...

Optimization of Delays Alternating with Nutation for Tailored Excitation (DANTE) Sequence in Engineering

open access: yesChinese Journal of Magnetic Resonance, 2018
Delays alternating with nutation for tailored excitation (DANTE) is often used as the preparation sequence in black blood imaging. After applying trains of small angle DANTE excitation pulse along with a gradient, the protons in blood flow and static ...

CONTACT CHARACTERISTIC ANALYSIS OF DOUBLE CIRCULAR-ARC SPIRAL BEVEL GEARS FOR THE NUTATION DRIVE BASED ON FINITE ELEMENT METHOD (MT)

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2022
Contact characteristic is an important index to characterize the transmission performance of gears. To clarify the contact characteristic of a nutation transmission with double circular-arc spiral bevel gears, this paper carried out a loaded tooth ...

THE RESEARCH OF VARIATION OF THE PERIOD AND PRECESSION OF THE ROTATION AXIS OF EGS (AJISAI) SATELLITE BY USING PHOTOMETRIC MEASUREMENT

open access: yesOdessa Astronomical Publications, 2014
The light curves of EGS Ajisai with temporal resolution of 20 ms referred to the time scale UTC (GPS) with an error of at most 0.1 ms were obtained. The observed flashes are produced when the mirrors which cover the spinning satellite’s surface reflect ...
