Mesenchymal Stromal Cell‐Mediated Intercellular Communication: Mapping the Interactome for Skeletal Muscle Homeostasis and Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Liu et al. define a systems‐level interactome of fibroadipogenic progenitor (FAP)‐mediated signaling in skeletal muscle by integrating single‐cell transcriptomics with FAP depletion‐based perturbation analysis. Functional interrogation using a conditioned media bioassay links predicted signaling to multicellular outcomes, establishing a framework to ...

Nutrient digestibility, fecal output and eating behavior for different cattle background feeding strategies

open access: yes, 2007
To examine the effects of limit feeding a high grain barley-based diet to growing cattle on nutrient digestibility, fecal DM out put and eating behavior, sixteen crossbred steers (326 ± 42.1 kg) housed in individual indoor pens were fed one of two ...

A Bifunctional T3SS‐Effector Simultaneously Cleaves Host MAP Kinase and Inhibits PPM1A Phosphatase

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pathogenic bacteria exploit the metalloprotease effector NleD to subvert host defenses. Structural, biochemical, and infection analyses reveal a bifunctional mechanism by which NleD binds and inhibits the host phosphatase PPM1A while preserving its proteolytic activity against MAPKs.

Effects of a partial to full replacement of soybean meal with Arthrospira platensis on apparent nutrient digestibility of diets for growing pigs

open access: yesItalian Journal of Animal Science
This study evaluated the effects of replacing soybean meal (SBM) with Arthrospira platensis (AP) on nutrient digestibility of diets for growing pigs and provided a preliminary estimation of AP in vivo digestibility and energy content.

Fitokimia Daun Kemangi (Ocimum x citriodorum L.) dan Pengaruhnya Sebagai Water Additive Terhadap Kecernaan Nutrien Pakan Ayam Broiler

open access: yesJurnal Ilmu Peternakan Terapan, 2020
The study was conducted to analyze the phytochemicals of basil leaves (Ocimum x citriodorum L.) and to evaluate the effect of basil leaves juice as an additive on nutrient digestibility of broiler chicken diet.

N, S Co‐Doped Carbon Quantum Dots‐Riboflavin Composite Photosensitizers for Enhanced Iontophoresis‐Assisted Corneal Cross‐Linking

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study explores the use of N, S co‐doped carbon quantum dots (NS‐CQDs) as carriers for riboflavin, creating NS‐CQDs‐RF composite photosensitizers. These composites improve riboflavin absorption, enhance ROS generation efficiency, and preserve corneal epithelium integrity.

Feed processing: effects on nutrient degradation and digestibility.

open access: yes, 2005
The dynamics of nutrient degradation in the reticulorumen and of nutrientdigestion in the intestines are major determinants of the utilization of dietingredients by ruminants.

LC3B Mediated SETDB1‐Accounted Alcoholic Steatohepatitis via Lipidation‐Dependent LAP and Lipidation‐Independent Nuclear Stabilization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SETDB1 is progressively downregulated in ALD, correlating with disease severity. SETDB1 deficiency impairs LAP by disrupting Rubicon membrane localization, leading to defective lipid droplet clearance. Concurrently, loss of SETDB1 reduces nuclear LC3B, causing R‐loop accumulation and cGAS‐STING‐driven inflammation. Lipidated LC3B mediates LAP‐dependent

Climate Change Threatens Micronutrient Density of European Winter Wheat

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Micronutrients are vital for human health. Wheat is a major staple crop and a significant source of minerals and B‐vitamins. The impact of climate change on their content remains largely unknown. We evaluated micronutrient levels in European winter wheat grown under historical and projected climate conditions. Our findings indicate that future climates
