O13 JAK inhibitors to restore skin barrier function in ARCI

British Journal of Dermatology, 2023
Abstract The autosomal recessive congenital ichthyoses (ARCI) are a group of chronic conditions where there is unmet therapeutic need. Harlequin ichthyosis (HI) is the most severe form of ARCI, with aberrant differentiation of the epidermis leading to a severe barrier defect.

O13 Exploring the modulators of cortical excitability

Clinical Neurophysiology, 2017
Objectives Fluctuations in cortical excitability is a candidate mechanism involved in the trial-to-trial variation of motor evoked potentials (MEPs) to transcranial magnetic stimulation. We explore if oscillations in the infraslow (0.01–0.1 Hz), delta, theta, alpha and beta frequency bands are possible modulators of cortical excitability.

O13. A comparison of TPS commissioning dosimeters

Physica Medica, 2016
Introduction The quality of treatment planning system (TPS) commissioning data largely determines the quality of the derived TPS beam model. Modern treatment techniques require a very high degree of competence from the dosimetrist, as well as the dosimetry equipment used for TPS commissioning.

Studies of lipopolysaccharides from two strains (C.D.C. 3607-60 and IP 421) of Serratia marcescens O13: Structure of the putative O13 antigen

Carbohydrate Research, 1988
Structural studies have been carried out on the putative O-specific polysaccharide of the reference strain (C.D.C. 3607-60) for Serratia marcescens O13. Circumstantial evidence that the O13 antigen is a microcapsular, acidic polymer, rather than an integral part of the lipopolysaccharide, has been obtained.

Trimethylaminuria, diet and a ‘fish‐like’ odour

Oral Diseases, 2005
Trimethylaminuria, also known colloquially as the fish malodour syndrome, is a metabolic disorder characterized by the presence of abnormal amounts of the dietary‐derived tertiary amine, trimethylamine, in the urine, sweat, expired air and other bodily secretions.

Iβ-decay of O13

2005
The Iβ decay of O13 has been studied at the IGISOL facility of the Jyväskylä accelerator centre (Finland). By developing a low-energy isotope-separated beam of O13 and using a modern segmented charged-particle detector array an improved measurement of the delayed proton spectrum was possible.

A New Oxide Ion Conductor Family: Bi7(P1-yVy)O13

Journal of Solid State Chemistry, 1993
A new phase, Bi[sub 7]PO[sub 13], obtained at room temperature in the Bi[sub 2]O[sub 3]-BiPO[sub 4] system, has been identified as a superstructure of the [delta]Bi[sub 2]O[sub 3] fcc form. Its conductivity has been improved by a substitution of V for P, in solid solution Bi[sub 7](P[sub 1[minus]y]V[sub y])O[sub 13] with 0 [le] y [le] 0.5.

O13 Faculty drivers: meeting the learning needs of facilitators

Oral presentations, 2018
Background There is an increasing drive towards considering the impact of simulation on faculty in addition to participants.1 F2 Acute Clinical Emergencies in Simulation (FACES) has proved consistently effective in meeting learning outcomes linked to the national curriculum of foundation year 2 (F2).
