Abstract The gamma rays from the reaction N 14 (p, γ)O 15∗ have been investigated over the proton energy range from 950 to 1560 keV. It is found that the 8.29-MeV level (1060-keV resonance) in O 15 cascades weakly through a level at 7.17 MeV and through the known level at 6.15 MeV, in addition to the transitions already known to the 5.2-MeV levels ...

O15. Non-invasive assessment of hemodynamics in early pregnancy
Pregnancy Hypertension: An International Journal of Women's Cardiovascular Health, 2011study is to assess cardiac function/remodelling at mid-gestation in normotensive women, some of whom subsequently developed PE. Methods: This was a prospective study on 351 women assessed at 20-23 weeks gestation. In particular, women at increased risk of developing PE (127 with high resistance uterine artery Doppler indices and 79 with PE in a ...

PIEZOELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF Ba2 NaNb5 O15
Applied Physics Letters, 1969Single-crystal Ba2NaNb5O15 (z plate) has been found to have a piezoelectric coupling factor in the thickness longitudinal mode kt equal to 0.57. As a value of kt determined by direct measurement, this result is the highest value yet reported for a single-crystal ferroelectric material usable at and above room temperature.

Microwave dielectric properties of Ba3La2Ti2Nb2−Ta O15 ceramics
Materials Letters, 2007Abstract High dielectric constant and low loss ceramics in the system Ba 3 La 2 Ti 2 Nb 2− x Ta x O 15 ( x = 0–2) have been prepared by conventional solid-state ceramic route. Ba 3 La 2 Ti 2 Nb 2− x Ta x O 15 solid solutions adopted A 5 B 4 O 15 cation-deficient hexagonal perovskite structure for all compositions.

O15 Bioaccessibility of organosulphur compounds from Allium sativum
Biochemical Pharmacology, 2017Garlic ( Allium sativum ), apart from its use as food, has been used as a medicinal plant for over 4000 years. Several investigations suggest that the biological and medical functions of garlic are due to the high content of organosulphur compounds. The bioaccessibility of the organosulphur compounds is an important factor for the evaluation of the ...

Low frequency vibrational modes in Ba2 NaNb5 O15
Ferroelectrics, 1970We have measured the Raman spectra of Ba2 NaNb5 O15 at temperatures from liquid nitrogen to 570°C. In the x(zzy scattering configuration a heavily damped mode was identified; and, its temperature dependence was sufficient to account for the dielectric anomaly found in this material. It is concluded that Ba2 NaNb5 O15 has a 'soft' A, vibrational mode as

Mechanisms for the O16(He3, He4)O15 reaction
Nuclear Physics, 1959BS>Excitation curves for the OO/sup 16/(He/sup 3/, alpha )O/sup 15/ and O/sup 16/(He /sup 3;p) F/sup 18/ reactions show pronounced resonance structure in the He/sup 3/ energy range from 2.0 to 3.0 Mev. It has been previously demonstrated that the energy dependenee of the alpha particle angular distribution coefficients in the region of the strongest ...

O15. Rhou function and the differentiation of endoderm progenitors
Differentiation, 2010Fate mapping studies of the mouse embryo reveal that progenitors of the definitive or gut endoderm are recruited from the epiblast during gastrulation and they are incorporated into a pre-existing population of visceral endoderm which may also contribute to the tissues of the embryonic gut.
