Synthesis, Characterization, and Surface Deposition of a Ruthenium(II) Complex with a Triphyrin(2.1.1) Ligand

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, Volume 651, Issue 17, November 25, 2025.
A previously elusive ruthenium triphyrin complex 2 is synthesized and fully characterized using various spectroscopic techniques. Surface studies on Au(111) are performed using X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, near‐edge X‐ray absorption fine structure, and polarization‐modulation infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy to explore its interfacial ...

Solvated Alkali and Calcium 2,2,6,6‐Tetramethylpiperidides: Synthesis and Reactivity

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 28, Issue 33, November 18, 2025.
Several solvated lithium, potassium, and calcium tetramethylpiperidides have been prepared and structurally authenticated. They mediate the deprotometallation of 1,3‐dimethoxybenzene at low to very low temperatures. Alkali 2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidides (TMP) are quintessential bases in organic chemistry.

Anhydrous Methane Sulfonates of Group 13 Metals: Synthesis and Characterization of Ga(CH3SO3)3, In(CH3SO3)3, and Tl(CH3SO3)3

open access: yesZeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, Volume 651, Issue 16, November 14, 2025.
In the crystal structures of the methanesulfonates M[CH3SO3]3 (M = Ga, In, Tl), the metal ions are linked into chains or layers by bidentate bridging anions. The anhydrous group 13 methanesulfonates M[CH3SO3]3 (M = Ga, In, Tl) are obtained from reactions of Ga2[SO4]3, In2O3, and Tl[NO3], respectively, with CH3SO3H in sealed glass ampoules at a ...

Holding dysregulation in mind: How maternal mind‐mindedness relates to regulatory symptoms and disorders in infancy

open access: yesInfant Mental Health Journal: Infancy and Early Childhood, Volume 46, Issue 6, Page 855-869, November 2025.
Abstract This study examined the role of maternal mind‐mindedness (MM) – the tendency to ascribe mental states to one's child – in infant regulatory symptoms and disorders and the moderating role of parenting stress and global psychological distress. A better understanding of these relationships may inform prevention and intervention programs.

Crystal structures and thermogravimetric analyses of six CuCN network structures with protonated N‐alkylethanolamines as guest cations

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section C, Volume 81, Issue 10, Page 584-595, October 2025.
Six CuCN network structures with conjugate acids of N‐alkylethanolamines as guest cations are presented, together with topographical analysis and thermal decomposition studies. Generally, each guest templates a different triperiodic structure, but in one case, two structures with different topologies were obtained from the same guest.

Efficacy and field safety of ilunocitinib for the control of atopic dermatitis in client‐owned dogs: A multicentre, double‐masked, randomised, placebo‐controlled clinical trial

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 36, Issue 5, Page 647-659, October 2025.
Background – Inhibition of the Janus kinase (JAK) pathway is a well‐established option for canine atopic dermatitis (cAD). Objective – To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ilunocitinib, a novel JAK inhibitor for the control of pruritus and skin lesions in client‐owned dogs with cAD.
