Physics of the Solid State, 2012The compound Bi24(CoBi)O40 has been synthesized using the solid-phase reaction method. The temperature and field dependences of the magnetic moment in the temperature range 4 K < T < 300 K and the temperature dependences of the EPR line width and g-factor at temperatures 80 K < T < 300 K have been investigated.

Abstract A 12-tungstovanadate complex, [VW 12 O 40 ] 3− was prepared as the tetrabutylammonium (n-Bu 4 N + ) salt by heating a 50 mM (M=mol dm −3 ) W(VI)–50 mM V(V)–1.5 M HCl–80% (v/v) CH 3 CN system at 70 °C for 24 h. The α-Keggin structure was confirmed by 183 W NMR spectroscopy.
