Glycyrrhizin's Potential to Modulate Feeding Behaviour by Neutralizing Reduced Feed Intake in Inflamed Arian Broilers

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 12, Issue 1, January 2026.
Glycyrrhizin counteracts LPS‐induced hypophagia and thermoregulatory disruption in broilers. Both ICV and IP administration restore feed intake and normalize body temperature in a dose‐dependent manner. The compound's anti‐inflammatory properties demonstrate its potential as an effective poultry health supplement. ABSTRACT Background The Arian broiler,

FKBP5 Mediates Alveolar Fibroblast Necroptosis During Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

open access: yesCell Proliferation, Volume 59, Issue 1, January 2026.
Structure diagram of alveolar fibroblast activation in septic ARDS model. FKBP5‐mediated alveolar fibroblast necroptosis, leading to the activation of NF‐κB signalling and the secretion of cytokines and the recruitment of neutrophils, and further orchestrating the inflammatory environment of the alveolar epithelia in septic ARDS.

The Differential Effects of Immunosuppressants on Hepatitis E Virus Replication and the Triggered Inflammatory Responses in Macrophages

open access: yesJournal of Viral Hepatitis, Volume 33, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Organ transplant recipients are at high risk of developing chronic infection when exposed to hepatitis E virus (HEV), which can rapidly progress to liver fibrosis and cirrhosis. Macrophages play a key role in the response to the infection and disease progression.
