Partial identification with categorical data and nonignorable missing outcomes
Abstract Nonignorable missing outcomes are common in real‐world datasets and often require strong parametric assumptions to achieve identification. These assumptions can be implausible or untestable, and so we may wish to forgo them in favour of partially identified models that narrow the set of a priori possible values to an identification region.

Motifs of Ancient Egypt in the Poetry of Anton Novačan and Anton Aškerc
The poetic oeuvres of Anton Aškerc, Akropolis in Piramide (Acropolis and the Pyramids, published in 1909) and Anton Novačan, Večeri ob Nilu (Evenings by the Nile, published in 1933, 1938 and 1939) contain many specific references from ancient Egyptian ...

When Dihedral Angles Mask Denticity in Molecular Conductance
This study tests whether higher molecule–electrode denticity increases conductance in single‐molecule junctions. Using nonequilibrium Green's function technique in conjunction with density functional theory simulations and mechanically controlled break‐junction experiments on a tetradentate N‐heterohexacene, it is found that conductance depends mainly ...

Quenching the Hubbard Model: Comparison of Nonequilibrium Green's Function Methods
ABSTRACT We benchmark nonequilibrium Green's function (NEGF) approaches for interaction quenches in the half‐filled Fermi–Hubbard model in one and two dimensions. We compare fully self‐consistent two‐time Kadanoff–Baym equations (KBE), the generalized Kadanoff–Baym ansatz (GKBA), and the recently developed NEGF‐based quantum fluctuations approach (NEGF‐

This figure shows the variation of the total heat transfer coefficient of a shell and tube heat exchanger with different concentrations of water‐based MgO nanofluids at different inlet flow rates. The results indicate that the total heat transfer coefficient increases with increasing flow velocity, and at different volume fraction settings, the ...

ABSTRACT We study the accuracy of a variety of parametric price duration‐based realized variance estimators constructed via various financial duration models and compare their forecasting performance with the performance of various nonparametric return‐based realized variance estimators.

An unfolding signifier: London's Baltic Exchange in Tallinn [PDF]
In the summer of 2007 an unusual cargo arrived at Muuga and Paldiski harbors outside Tallinn. It consisted of nearly 50 containers holding over 1,000 tons of building material ranging from marble columns, staircases and fireplaces, to sculpted ...

This study found that youth with a higher genetic risk for internalizing and externalizing problems were more likely to face adversity within their home, highlighting the need for risk mitigation. These associations varied by adversity type and timing. Additionally, low family income, parental divorce, and externalizing behaviours were linked to lower ...
