The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

RE-YOLOv5: Enhancing Occluded Road Object Detection via Visual Receptive Field Improvements

open access: yesSensors
Road object detection technology is a key technology to achieve intelligent assisted driving. The complexity and variability of real-world road environments make the detection of densely occluded objects more challenging in autonomous driving scenarios ...

Graphic object detection.

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper popular binarization and object detection methods are examined and the effect of binarization method on object detection methods is evaluated. Forms used for cell growth are used for various experiments and they must not be damaged.

Ubiquitination of secretory granules promotes their crinophagic degradation in Drosophila

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ubiquitination of secretory granules in Drosophila larval salivary glands is a critical molecular trigger for crinophagy, the lysosomal degradation of unreleased, or low‐quality granules. The E3 ubiquitin ligase Cnot4 is recruited to the surface of secretory granules to induce crinophagy.

Investigating Effective Inspection of Object-Oriented Code

open access: yes, 2002
Since the development of software inspection over twenty-five years ago it has become established as an effective means of detecting defects. Inspections were originally developed at a time when the procedural paradigm was dominant but, with the Object ...

Video foreground detection based on symmetric alpha-stable mixture models. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Background subtraction (BS) is an efficient technique for detecting moving objects in video sequences. A simple BS process involves building a model of the background and extracting regions of the foreground (moving objects) with the assumptions that the
