On the transition pattern of the oblique detonation structure
Oblique detonation waves are simulated to study the evolution of their morphology as gasdynamic and chemical parameters are varied. Although two kinds of transition pattern have previously been observed, specifically an abrupt transition and a smooth one,

A Multiscale Mechanistic Framework for Polydopamine Dyeing in Ultrablack Wool Textiles
Ultrablack photonic textiles are enabled through polydopamine (PDA) dyeing, which is governed by the interplay of PDA chemistry, wool surface topology and chemistry, and hierarchical fiber–yarn–fabric architecture. Fabric architecture emerges as a primary and previously underappreciated design lever for wide‐angle optical performance.

A Magnetic‐Driven Self‐Rotation‐Stabilized Miniature Swimming Robot
Inspired by the stable rotational descent of seeds in nature, this study designs a magnetic‐driven self‐rotation‐stabilized miniature swimming robot (MSMSR). Based on a resonance‐driven strategy, the robot exhibits high swimming performance, offering enhanced directional swimming and improved resistance to water flow disturbances compared to existing ...

Microgels enable independent control of stiffness and interstitial space, overcoming limitations of conventional 3D hydrogels. Using fragmented gelatin methacryloyl microgels, we show that stiffness does not restrict non‐metastatic breast cancer growth, contrary to bulk hydrogels, and reveal the role of adherent‐to‐suspension transition in cancer ...
