Estimating Solar Wind Charge Exchange Generated Soft X‐Rays in the Jovian Magnetosheath
Abstract Solar Wind Charge eXchange (SWCX) generated soft x‐rays are used extensively to study the interfaces between charged and neutral particles throughout the solar system. This paper outlines the development of a model of Jupiter's magnetosheath using magnetohydrodynamic derived boundary equations and a combination of in situ Juno measurements and

Abstract We implement a nudging module into the Thermosphere Ionosphere Electrodynamics General Circulation Model (TIEGCM) to identify effective techniques for incorporating global‐scale tides and medium‐scale gravity waves (GWs) that induce ionospheric variability.

Abstract Internally driven ULF waves are excited in the premidnight region during the magnetic storm on 22 July 2009. The excitation of ULF waves was investigated based on the Geospace Environment Modeling System for Integrated Studies (GEMSIS) magnetosphere‐ionosphere coupled model, GOES spacecrafts, and ground magnetometers.
