Two Material Properties from One Wavelength‐Orthogonal Photoresin Enabled by a Monochromatic Laser Integrated Stereolithographic Apparatus (Mono LISA)

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 13, April 2, 2025.
A single object with dual properties – degradable and non‐degradable – is fabricated in a single print simply by switching the printing colors. The advanced multi‐material printing is enabled by the combination of a fully wavelength‐orthogonal photoresin and a monochromatic tunable laser printer, paving the way for precise multi‐material ...

Multifunctional Fluidic Units for Emergent, Responsive Robotic Behaviors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A multifunctional reconfigurable fluidic unit can be used as sensor, valve and actuator is presented. A unique configuration combines the features of the three components as a Responsive self‐oscillating actuator. The remarkable versatility of the fluidic unit is demonstrated by building different robots with the same fluidic units only by varying ...

Obstacle Avoidance Algorithm for 7-DOF Redundant Anthropomorphic Arm

open access: yesJournal of Control Science and Engineering, 2015
To deal with the problem of obstacle avoidance for redundant robots, an obstacle avoidance algorithm based on the internal motion of the 7-DOF redundant anthropomorphic arm is presented.

Role of Liquid Composition in the Transient Liquid Assisted Growth of Superconducting YBa2Cu3O7‐δ Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The Y supersaturation in the [Ba‐Cu(I/II)‐O] transient liquid composition is the driving force toward YBCO nucleation and growth in TLAG. Tuning the initial (Ba:Cu) molar ratio in the ink composition determines the YBCO epitaxial nucleation through supersaturation control.

Motion Control and Obstacle Avoidance of Mobile Robot with Mecanum Wheels

open access: yesInternational Journal of Technology
Most current research on motion control and obstacle avoidance for mobile robot (MR) is primarily focused on static obstacle avoidance, with limited attention to detecting as well as avoiding moving obstacle.

CONSTRUCTING PATHS TO AVOID MULTIPLE OBSTACLES

open access: yesDynamics of Systems, Mechanisms and Machines, 2020

Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy in Bionanotechnology: Current Advances and Future Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Kelvin probe force microscopy (KPFM) enables the nanoscale mapping of electrostatic surface potentials. While widely applied in materials science, its use in biological systems remains emerging. This review presents recent advances in KPFM applied to biological samples and provides a critical perspective on current limitations and future directions for
