Finding Clusters and Outliers for Data Sets with Constraints
In this paper, we present our research on data mining approaches with the existence of obstacles. Although there are a lot of algorithms designed to detect clusters with obstacles, few algorithms can detect clusters and outliers simultaneously and ...

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.

The nonequilibrium Ehrenfest gas: a chaotic model with flat obstacles?
It is known that the non-equilibrium version of the Lorentz gas (a billiard with dispersing obstacles, electric field and Gaussian thermostat) is hyperbolic if the field is small.

A Straight Skeleton Based Connectivity Restoration Strategy in the Presence of Obstacles for WSNs
Connectivity has significance in both of data collection and aggregation for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Once the connectivity is lost, relay nodes are deployed to build a Steiner Minimal Tree (SMT) such that the inter-component connection is ...
