‘Simultaneous technique’ and a hybrid microseal/pacmac obturation

open access: yesDental Update, 2011
In these endodontic case reports we present a root canal preparation protocol using the Mtwo Ni-Ti rotary files according to the ‘simultaneous technique’ which is a ‘crown-down’ approach, where every instrument in the sequence is used to the full working length. A hybrid Microseal/PacMac obturation (consisting of three stages: master cone compaction,

The sealing ability of the thermafil obturation technique

Journal of Endodontics, 1990
Forty straight canals of maxillary canines and 40 curved canals in 20 mesial roots of mandibular molars were instrumented and randomly assigned to two groups of 40 canals each. For the experimental group, the canals were obturated using the Thermafil obturation technique. Lateral condensation was used for the obturation of the control group.

Assessment of Bacterial Sealing Ability of Two Different Bio-Ceramic Sealers in Single-Rooted Teeth Using Single Cone Obturation Technique: An In Vitro Study

open access: yesApplied Sciences (Switzerland), 2023
The long-term success of root canal treatment requires the prevention of bacterial leakage between canal walls and root canal obturation. In this study, we compared the leakage of Enterococcus faecalis in thirty single-rooted mandibular premolars divided
