Small Structures, EarlyView.A new cost‐effective Li5.5Fe0.5Al0.5Cl8 solid electrolyte is presented. Upon the Al substitution to Li6FeCl8, its structure changed from the Suzuki‐phase to the spinel‐like phase while the 25°C ionic conductivity is increased from 3.1 × 10−6 to 3.9 ×10−5 S cm−1.
