Ecological Function and Diversity of the Endosphere Microbiome in Leaves and Fruits of Coffea arabica L. Across Elevation and Shade Gradients

open access: yesEnvironmental DNA, Volume 7, Issue 4, July–August 2025.
ABSTRACT Coffee is a globally important commodity that supports millions of livelihoods, from smallholder farmers to international traders. However, the sustainability of the coffee value chain is increasingly threatened by environmental changes. In this context, the phytomicrobiome, shaped by both environmental factors and plant genotypes, plays a ...

Investigation of the Effect of Endoglucanase Treatment on Beatability and Drainage Rate of OCC Pulps

open access: yesIranian Journal of Wood and Paper Industries, 2014
This research was performed to investigate of different endoglucanase levels and enzymatic treatment times on the beatability and drainage rate of OCC pulp. Endoglucanase enzyme with different dosages including 1u, 2u and 3u (on oven dry based pulp) at different times of 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 hours under constant process conditions added to OCC pulp in two

Accuracy Improvement in the LA‐MC‐ICP‐MS Measurement of 87Sr/86Sr in Bioapatite Using Dentin of Carcharinus leucas (Bull shark) to Estimate 87Rb/85Rb Instrument Induced Fractionation

open access: yesGeostandards and Geoanalytical Research, Volume 48, Issue 3, Page 595-612, September 2024.
Key Points Accurate 87Sr/86Sr measurement by LA‐MC‐ICP‐MS requires an appraisal of 87Rb/85Rb instrument induced fractionation, βRb. βRb can be calculated from the analysis of shark dentin with known 87Sr/86Sr composition and applied to unknown samples. Highly accurate 87Sr/86Sr isotope ratios were obtained from modern and fossil bioapatite samples.

Identification of Quantitative and Qualitative Papermaking Parameters of OCC Pulp Fibers

open access: yesIranian Journal of Wood and Paper Industries, 2015
Nowadays there is a great competition for the production of packaging paper from recycled fibers. But success in this competition depends on improving its strength properties. Thus when it comes to talk about recycled fiber, the first and most important challenge is to tailor it for pulp and papermaking.

Petrological Evidence for Prominent Melt‐Mush Reactions During Slow‐Spreading Oceanic Accretion

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems, Volume 25, Issue 8, August 2024.
Abstract The structure of the lithosphere and the associated magmatic systems found in different locations along slow‐spreading ridges can vary dramatically, from melt‐starved to magmatically robust segments. A growing number of studies suggest that the evolution of the magmatic crust being governed solely by fractional crystallization is too ...

Study on production of fluting paper from wheat straw soda – AQ pulp and OCC pulp blends

open access: yesتحقیقات علوم چوب و کاغذ ایران, 2011
This study was carried out with the aim of producing fluting paper from wheat straw soda–AQ pulp and OCC pulp blend. Handsheets at 120 gr/m2 basis weight were made by blending the unbleached wheat straw pulp with OCC pulp at ratios of 25, 50 and 75%.

Potential of GL as cationic polymer to control stickies of OCC pulp

open access: yesتحقیقات علوم چوب و کاغذ ایران, 2018
Stickies is among the major challenges in paper recycling mills. This substance deposits on paper machine components and cause to break paper web as well as loss of end product quality. So, it is necessary to control the stickies and lessen its detrimental effects. It is known that cationic polymers as fixing agents can control the stickies efficiently.
