Occult Hepatitis B Virus Infection in Hyperlipidemia Patients

Integrative characterization of human hepatocellular carcinoma‐derived organoids and their HBV‐associated biology

20 HCC‐derived organoids, three adjacent non‐tumour tissue‐derived organoids, and 12 HCC‐derived cell lines from 20 patients were established and biobanked. Integrative analyses combining drug screening, whole‐exome sequencing, and RNA sequencing revealed molecular subtypes and identified candidate determinants of lenvatinib response.

Occult Hepatitis B Virus Infection: Transmission and Reactivation

Occult HBV infection (OBI) is defined as presence of HBV DNA in the liver tissue in patients with serologically undetectable HBsAg. There are differences in virologic and serological profiles of OBI.
