Ultrasound‐Activated Bifunctional Piezoelectric Hydrogel Dressings Promote Infected Wound Healing via Regulating Angiogenesis and Lymphangiogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study developed a double‐network hydrogel with piezoelectric properties, exhibiting excellent antibacterial activity and promoting fibroblast migration, angiogenesis, and lymphangiogenesis through piezoelectric stimulation, thereby accelerating the healing of infected chronic wounds.

Improving satellite ocean color remote sensing products under absorbing aerosol conditions

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science
Ocean color remote sensing is vital for monitoring marine ecosystems, but accurate retrieval of ocean color parameters remains challenging in regions affected by strongly absorbing aerosols such as dust, biomass burning, and industrial pollution.

Two Routes to Land: Genomic Underpinnings of Parallel Aerial Egg Deposition in Aquatic Old‐World Pila and New‐World Pomacea (Ampullariidae)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Comparative genomics of Gondwana‐diverged Pila and Pomacea reveals parallel evolution of aerial oviposition. Convergent chromosomal rearrangements reshape regulatory landscapes within topologically associating domains. Lineage‐specific gene family expansions and viral‐derived perivitelline proteins (PV1) underpin desiccation resistance.

Evaluation of Four Atmospheric Correction Algorithms for GOCI Images over the Yellow Sea

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2019
Atmospheric correction (AC) for coastal waters is an important issue in ocean color remote sensing. AC performance is fundamental in retrieving reliable water-leaving radiances and then bio-optical parameters.

A Universal Approach to Enhancing Silicon Hot‐Carrier Photodetectors for CMOS‐Compatible SWIR Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Silicon hot‐carrier photodetectors offer a CMOS‐compatible pathway for SWIR detection but suffer from intrinsically low quantum efficiency. Here, we introduce a quasi‐generalized antireflection coating (QARC) that universally enhances optical absorption and quantum efficiency, enabling the first CMOS‐compatible SWIR imaging with silicon hot‐carrier ...

In situ validation of MERIS marine reflectance off the southwest Iberian Peninsula: assessment of vicarious adjustment and corrections for near-land adjacency [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Water-leaving reflectance (ρw) data from the European Space Agency ocean colour sensor Medium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS) was validated with in situ ρw between October 2008 and November 2011, off Sagres on the southwest coast of the Iberian ...

Natural Resistance to Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome in Estrildid Finches Reveals Macrophage GPR183 as a Potential Therapeutic Target

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ovarian macrophage depletion reverses OHSS resistance in estrildid finches and exacerbates OHSS symptoms in rats. Activating macrophage GPR183 alleviates OHSS by reducing pro‐inflammatory factors, increasing immunomodulatory molecules, remodeling CD44/SDC4‐mediated communication, and restoring immune homeostasis.

Complete characterization of ocean color radiometers

open access: yesFrontiers in Remote Sensing
Verifying and validating waterleaving radiance measurements from space for an accurate derivation of Ocean/Water Colour biogeophysical products is based on concurrent high-quality fiducial reference measurements (FRM) carried out on the ground or water ...
