The study outlines the tectono‐sedimentary evolution of the İnegöl Basin in north‐western Anatolia. Basin formation was controlled by interacting extensional and strike‐slip fault systems linked to uplift of the Uludağ Massif. Terrestrial sedimentation from the Miocene to Pleistocene is reconstructed using abundant fossil mammal assemblages that ...

Estimation of upper ocean vertical mixing from surface ocean colour observations
The growth of marine phytoplankton is tightly connected to the strength of upper ocean vertical mixing and the depth of the mixed layer. The vertical mixing supplies nutrients from deeper ocean water to the ocean surface. Meanwhile, the mixing also moves phytoplankton cells in and out of the sunlit surface layer.

Petrography, thermobarometry, and pseudosection modelling reveal peak metamorphic conditions of 3–7.5 kbar and 520°C–800°C in Tonian‐Cryogenian orthogneisses of the Dom Feliciano Belt. Metamorphic field gradients of 27°C/km–39°C/km and variable exhumation mechanisms support correlation of these units as remnants of a Himalayan‐type Piratini Orogeny ...

Integrated one‐pot CRISPR‐Cas detection: Addressing strategies and future prospects
Integrated one‐pot CRISPR‐Cas detection significantly simplifies workflows, reduces cross‐contamination risks, and shortens turnaround times, making it highly suitable for point‐of‐care testing (POCT) and resource‐limited settings. Key challenges include system compatibility issues between Cas proteins and isothermal amplification, limited multiplexing
