OCEANS '85 - Ocean Engineering and the Environment, 1985
All wells drilled by the Ocean Drilling Program which penetrate more than 400 meters of sediment, and any wells with significant basement penetration, are now logged as part of routine operations on the JOIDES Resolution. Standard logs include resistivity, sonic velocity, neutron porosity, density, and both natural and induced gamma-ray spectrometry ...

The Integrated Ocean Drilling Program: Utilizing New Drilling Platforms for Ocean Research
Marine Technology Society Journal, 2004The Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP) began officially on October 1, 2003, the result of a decade of planning by the international scientific community. IODP represents the first-ever multiple platform scientific ocean drilling program, building upon successful single platform programs that began in the late 1960s.

The application of nuclear logs in the Ocean Drilling Program
IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1990The authors concentrate on the use of elemental data in scientific investigations of the oceanic crust and deal specifically with the use of chemical concentrations. These interpretations may be enhanced by either further nuclear data, such as variously determined porosity estimates, or by integration with data from conventional logs.
