Resistance to Overdoping Allows Over 2000 S cm−1 Conductivity in P(g3BTTT) With Anion‐Exchange Doping

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Anion‐exchange doping of conjugated polymers is an effective way to achieve high conductivities. Here, we report over 2000 S cm−1 electrical conductivity for doped P(g3BTTT). In addition, we show that P(g3BTTT) sustains exceptionally high doping levels without any drop in the charge mobility.

Phase‐Pure and Size‐Tunable Tin Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A trioctylphosphine oxide modulated protocol allows for the synthesis and study of the optical properties of a broad library of tin halide perovskite quantum dots across multiple A‐ and X‐site compositions with precise size tuning while eliminating unwanted 2D phases.

Deterministic Nucleation of Nanocrystal Superlattices on 2D Perovskites for Light‐Funneling Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work investigates the heterogeneous nucleation of CsPbBr3${\rm CsPbBr}_3$ nanocrystal superlattices along the faces of 2D PEA2PbBr4${\rm PEA}_2{\rm PbBr}_4$ layered perovskite microcrystals. Core–crown and core–shell heterostructure morphologies are obtained.

Assessing impacts of observations on ocean circulation models with examples from coastal, shelf, and marginal seas

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science
Ocean observing systems in coastal, shelf and marginal seas collect diverse oceanographic information supporting a wide range of socioeconomic needs, but observations are necessarily sparse in space and/or time due to practical limitations.

Perspectives on a Global Observing System to Assess Ocean Health

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science, 2018
Concern over the deterioration of the oceans has generated a demand for a system able to assess ocean health globally, and approaches to assess ocean health globally and an observing system delivering the data to support this assessment are now being ...

Observing Antarctic Bottom Water in the Southern Ocean

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science, 2023
Dense, cold waters formed on Antarctic continental shelves descend along the Antarctic continental margin, where they mix with other Southern Ocean waters to form Antarctic Bottom Water (AABW).

Spectral Compensation Strategy for Radical‐Induced Dye Degradation in Liquid Crystal Polymer Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
A spectral compensation strategy is introduced to overcome radical‐induced degradation of dichroic dyes during UV photopolymerization. By incorporating a complementary photochromic liquid‐crystalline dye, broadband optical attenuation is preserved without disrupting photopolymerization, enabling high‐contrast and durable dye‐doped liquid crystal ...
