AI–Guided 4D Printing of Carnivorous Plants–Inspired Microneedles for Accelerated Wound Healing
This work presents an artificial intelligence (AI)‐guided 4D‐printed microneedle platform inspired by carnivorous plants for wound healing. A thermo‐responsive shape memory polymer enables body temperature–triggered self‐coiling for autonomous wound closure.

Quantifying Uncertainties in Ocean Predictions [PDF]
Abstract : A multitude of physical and biological processes occur in the ocean over a wide range of temporal and spatial scales. Many of these processes are nonlinear and highly variable, and involve interactions across several scales and oceanic disciplines.

MarineFlux ICOADS Air‐Sea Fluxes: 1990–2020
Bulk turbulent heat and momentum fluxes are derived from individual marine reports from ships and moored buoys. The source dataset is the International Comprehensive Ocean–Atmosphere Data Set (ICOADS), specifically release 3.1.0 (1990–2014) and release 3.

Applicability Evaluation of Antarctic Ozone Reanalysis and Merged Satellite Datasets
In this study, based on total column ozone observations from eight Antarctic stations, we evaluate the applicability of ERA5, C3S-MSR, MERRA-2, and JRA-55 reanalysis datasets and the NIWA-BS merged satellite dataset, in terms of interannual variation and

Near‐Unity Chiral Lasing Enabled by Quasi‐Bound States in the Continuum
Nanoimprinted chiral array that supports bound states in the continuum is doped with an efficient non‐chiral molecule (Rhodamine‐B) acting as gain medium to produce fully circularly polarized lasing emission. The chiral lasing wavelength can be tuned across the emission band of Rhodamine‐B by adjusting the coating thickness of the TiO2 high refractive ...

Facet‐Specific PbS Quantum Dot Passivation Using Halide Perovskites for SWIR Photodetectors
PbS quantum dots (QDs) are emerging as powerful short‐wave infrared photodetectors, yet the passivation mechanism of large QDs by perovskites ‐ critical for their stability ‐ remains unexplained. Here, we unveil the ligand structure of CH3NH3PbI3 (MAPI)‐passivated 4‐nm PbS QDs using FTIR, XPS, SEM, NMR, and DFT.

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Dilution and Transport Predictions for Ocean Outfalls
Dilution and transport predictions for an ocean outfall proposed for the Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro are summarized. The initial characteristics of the wastefield are predicted using the results of recent experiments on submerged wastefield characteristics in stratified flows.

ABSTRACT Real‐time insight into local chemistry is critical for reliable part quality in additive manufacturing, especially laser powder bed fusion (PBF‑LB/M), where rapid thermal cycles and localized evaporation can undermine part performance. Optical emission spectroscopy (OES) offers non‑intrusive, in situ plume monitoring, but detection geometry ...
