Decoding IGLL5 Mutation‐Mediated BCR Signaling: A Novel Mechanism of CD8+ T Cell Exhaustion and Ocular MALT Lymphoma Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 44, 7 August 2026.
OAML harbors recurrent IGLL5 mutations that reinforce CD79A/CD79B‐associated BCR signaling. Mechanistic analysis of the S47G and A54G variants reveals induction of CXCL10/CXCL11, enhanced CD8+ T‐cell recruitment, and exhaustion‐associated dysfunction, supporting an immune‐tolerant niche.

Prevalence and effect of occult hepatitis C infection in patients with persistent liver enzyme elevation after achieving 24 weeks of sustained virological response

open access: yesThe Egyptian Journal of Internal Medicine, 2019
Background Despite achieving sustained virological response (SVR) of chronic hepatitis C infection, some of the treated patients have persistent elevations of transaminases. Occult hepatitis C infection (OCI) could be one of the causes.

The Effect of the Atmosphere on the OCI Channels:Rayleigh Scattering

open access: yesTerrestrial, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, 1999
One of the key issues for ocean color investigation using Ocean Color Imager (OCI) radiance is the correction for atmospheric effect. In particular, the water-leaving radiance is an order of magnitude less than that of observed radiance, so the accuracy of the concentration of phytoplankton pigments retrieval depends on the accuracy of the correction ...

Blocking SETD2 Enhances the Therapeutic Efficiency of Menin Inhibitor in MLL‐Fusion Leukemia

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 8, Page 2221-2235, August 2026.
Combined SETD2 and menin inhibitors make synergistic effects against MLL‐fusion leukemia; the combination therapy reduces the expression of target genes through blocking transcription elongation and initiation. ABSTRACT During transcriptional elongation, the histone methyltransferase SETD2 binds to RNA polymerase II and deposits trimethylation marks at

The Natural Quassinoid Brusatol Enhances Venetoclax Efficacy and Overcomes Resistance in Myeloid Leukemias

open access: yesCancer Science, Volume 117, Issue 8, Page 2274-2288, August 2026.
Schematic illustration of the mechanisms by which the natural quassinoid brusatol induces apoptosis in myeloid leukemias and enhances venetoclax efficacy via p53‐dependent apoptosis and mitochondrial dysfunction. ABSTRACT While venetoclax‐based combinations have shown promising results in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), the remission duration is ...

Do Fair Value Adjustments Excluded From Net Income Convey New Information That Is Complementary to GAAP Earnings?

open access: yesJournal of Business Finance &Accounting, Volume 53, Issue 4, Page 1409-1436, August 2026.
ABSTRACT We use banks’ quarterly fair value disclosures to perform the first short‐window event study of fair value adjustments excluded from net income and offer three main results. First, we find that fair value adjustments for banks’ loan portfolios are positively associated with short‐window stock returns and that they impact investors’ response to

Postfrontal Deep Convection Over the Southern Ocean and Orographic Precipitation Enhancement Over Tasmania

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, Volume 131, Issue 14, 28 July 2026.
Abstract The orographic precipitation enhancement (OPE) generated within wintertime post‐frontal air masses is a prominent climate feature of Tasmania. This study investigates a passage of a cold sector of a mid‐latitude cyclone over the Southern Ocean (SO) and Western Tasmania (WTAS) observed from 2100 UTC 11 July to 0300 UTC 13 July.

Eyes Toward the Clinic: Selective Inhibition and Degradation Approaches to Bromodomain‐Containing Proteins

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 13, 14 July 2026.
The function of bromodomain‐containing proteins in regulating gene transcription is reviewed here, including the development of chemical probes and targeted protein degradation modalities (e.g., PROTACs). This extends to clinical efforts targeting the BET bromodomain‐containing proteins. Challenges of selectivity, future prospects, and the differential

Potential of NASA’s Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, and Ocean Ecosystem (PACE) Satellite Observations in the Oxygen Bands for Determining Aerosol Layer Height over Ocean

open access: yesJournal of Remote Sensing
Aerosol layer height (ALH) is an important but uncertain parameter for evaluating the impact of aerosols on weather and climate and for accurate atmospheric correction.
