Selection of Anode Half‐Cells for Hydrogen Peroxide Self‐Powered Electrochemical Sensors Using Biomimetic Metal Complex Cathode Catalysts

open access: yesAnalysis &Sensing, Volume 6, Issue 3, May 2026.
The work provides novel insights into the operation mechanism of the self‐powered electrochemical sensors for the determination of hydrogen peroxide. The role of chloride anions in a supporting electrolyte, and reactions at the anode which contribute to the operation mechanism of the sensors, have been highlighted.

Evaluating Reaction Kinetics Between Solid Booster and Dissolved Active Species in Redox‐Mediated Flow Batteries Using Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 9, Issue 5, May 2026.
This work is based on confining the solid booster within recessed microelectrode (rME) and utilizing scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) to determine the reaction rate between the solid booster and the dissolved active redox species. This enables conntrolled polariztion of the booster at different state os charge.

Elucidating the Influence of Stack Pressure on Anode and Cathode Impedance of All‐Solid‐State Batteries via Three‐Electrode Measurements

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 9, Issue 5, May 2026.
Electrochemical processes in all‐solid‐state batteries (ASSBs) are studied by combining three‐electrode impedance measurements with a variation of the stack pressure and of the thickness of the composite cathode. Impedance contributions of the anode and of the cathode are distinguished and analyzed.
