ABSTRACT Rationale Quantum cascade laser absorption spectroscopy (QCLAS) is a fast and reliable method for analyzing the bulk (đż13CâCH4, đżDâCH4) and clumped isotopic (â13CH3D and â12CH2D2) composition of methane. However, precise measurements of â12CH2D2 require 0.5 to 1.8âmmol of purified methane (equivalent to 15 to 40âmL at STP).

Phenotype Expansion of Malan Syndrome: New Cases and a Review of the Literature
ABSTRACT Malan syndrome is an ultraârare overgrowth syndrome caused by pathogenic variants or deletions in nuclear factor one X (NFIX) located at 19p13.2. Here, we report a comprehensive literature review and phenotyping of known patients with Malan syndrome and present a novel cohort of eight patients.

We set out to characterize genotypeâphenotype correlations in the recently delineated KDM2Bâassociated neurodevelopmental disorder. We observe a highly penetrant CxxC domainârelated phenotype with distinct facial features supported by GestaltMatcher. In contrast, our findings point to variable expressivity and incomplete penetrance of lossâofâfunction ...

ABSTRACT Background People with intellectual disabilities (IDs) are more likely to experience visionârelated impairments, yet they face many barriers to accessing eye care. Although previous studies have described these barriers, few have compared barriers reported by families who have and have not accessed ophthalmologic care, which may provide ...

Outcomes of Femtosecond Laser-Assisted Arcuate Keratotomy in the Management of Keratoplasty-Related Astigmatism [PDF]
Background/Objectives: Post-keratoplasty astigmatism can limit visual recovery even after successful corneal transplantation. Femtosecond laser-assisted arcuate keratotomy (FSAK) has emerged as a method to reduce high residual astigmatism and enhance ...

CrossâScale Synergistic Optimization for Miniature MetaâLiquid Hybrid Zoom Imaging
A physically constrained optimization framework links electrowetting liquid lenses and metasurface dispersion engineering to realize a compact visibleâband achromatic zoom imager. By coâoptimizing zoom actuation, metaâatom manufacturability, and system aberrations, the design achieves 1.5x zoom in a 15.5Â mm track and clarifies robustness against ...
