Abstract To assess the contribution of ocular residual astigmatism (ORA) to anterior corneal astigmatism (ACA) in children with low and moderate myopia. Refractive astigmatism (RA) were received by subjective manifest refraction. ACA were obtained by IOL Master. Using Thibos vector analysis to calculate ORA.

Management of irregular astigmatism [PDF]
Using a liberal definition of corneal irregularity, modern videokeratoscopy may define approximately 40% of normal corneas with a toric refractive error as possessing primary irregular astigmatism.

Anatomical and functional outcomes of toric intraocular lens implantation
Background: To minimize the residual refractive correction, toric intraocular lens (TIOL) is being increasingly used in cases undergoing cataract surgery with preexisting corneal astigmatism of ≥1.0 D.
