Ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (OVEMPs) produced by impulsive transmastoid accelerations [PDF]
Objective: Recent work has demonstrated the existence of ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (OVEMPs), which likely reflect projections underlying the translational vestibular ocular reflex (TVOR).

An animal model of ocular vestibular-evoked myogenic potential in guinea pigs
This study aimed to establish an animal model of ocular vestibular-evoked myogenic potential (oVEMP) in guinea pigs. Ten healthy and 10 gentamicin-treated guinea pigs underwent oVEMP test using a hand-held bone-conducted vibrator placed on the animal's forehead. All 10 healthy animals exhibited bilateral oVEMPs at the stimulus intensity of 139 dB force

Single motor unit recordings of ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials in human extraocular muscles [PDF]
The ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potential (oVEMP) is a vestibular-dependent reflex and clinical test of otolith function measured from the extraocular muscles with surface electrodes.

New perspectives on vestibular evoked myogenic potentials [PDF]
Purpose of review Although the vestibular evoked myogenic potential (VEMP) measured from the cervical muscles (cVEMP, cervical VEMP) is well described and has documented clinical utility, its analogue recorded from the extraocular muscles (oVEMP, ocular ...

Contributions of ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials and the electrooculogram to periocular potentials produced by whole-body vibration [PDF]
In this paper we report the results of an experiment to investigate the emergence of ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (OVEMPs) during the linear vestibular ocular reflex (LVOR) evoked by whole-body vibration (WBV). OVEMP and electrooculogram (
