Distributed Bragg Reflector Based on Plasmonic Ag: Plasma Polymer Nanocomposites

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
This paper presents a comprehensive approach for the optical design and validation of silver nanocomposite‐based Distributed Bragg Reflectors (DBRs). It describes deriving material properties (n, k) and using them to predict the performance of the deposited optical stack, as well as to characterize imperfections in the DBR deposition, or even to ...

Ugotavljanje števila probiotičnih mikroorganizmov v krmnih mešanicah

open access: yesActa Agriculturae Slovenica, 2008
V prehrani živali se uporablja širok spekter probiotičnih mikroorganizmov, ki pripadajo mlečnokislinskim bakterijam, kvasovkam ali rodu Bacillus. V raziskavi smo ugotavljali število mikroorganizmov oziroma njihovih spor v različnih krmnih mešanicah in ...

Multi-quasiparticle structures up to spin $\sim{44}\hbar$ in the odd-odd nucleus $^{168}$Ta

open access: yes, 2010
High-spin states in the odd-odd nucleus $^{168}$Ta have been populated in the $^{120}$Sn($^{51}$V,3n) reaction. Two multi-quasiparticle structures have been extended significantly from spin $\sim{20\hbar}$ to above ${40\hbar}$.

Molecular Engineering for Enhanced Second‐Order Nonlinear Response in Spontaneously‐Oriented Evaporated Organic Films

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Intramolecular bridge‐locking frustrates detrimental anti‐parallel packing in evaporated organic films. This design enhances net polar orientation, leading to a twofold off‐resonance increase in the second‐order nonlinear susceptibility (χ(2)) without electric‐field poling.

Prvotne, izgubljene, pretopljene pasme prašičev v Sloveniji

open access: yesActa Agriculturae Slovenica, 2013
Prvotni prašiči so v literaturnih virih običajno zapisani kot domači, naravni, navadni, kranjski, črni, štajerski oz. dolenjski prašiči in podobno. S pričetkom reje prašičev na Kranjskem se je razvila domača pasma prašičev.

Substituent Effects on Cyanine Dyes Vary with Position and Chain Length

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
In cyanines, substituent effects vary as a function of substituent position and cyanine length. Electron‐donating‐ and ‐withdrawing groups at meso‐ and α‐positions of 4n+1/4n−1 long cyanines (n = 1, 2, 3…) cause opposing, hypsochromic and bathochromic shifts of the 1st UV–vis absorption bands.

Kemična komunikacija med parazitoidi in organizmi z drugih trofičnih nivojev

open access: yesActa Agriculturae Slovenica, 2010
Vsi organizmi v ekosistemu so biokemično povezani. Semiokemikalije v receptorjih dražljajev vzbudijo vedenjske ali fiziološke odzive, kar privede do interakcije med dajalcem in prejemnikom dražljajev.

Harnessing Ultrafast Optical Pulses for 3D Microfabrication by Selective Tweezing and Immobilization of Colloidal Particles in an Integrated System

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2025.
Microfabrication using nano‐ to micron‐sized blocks has transformative potential for next‐gen electronics, optoelectronics, and materials. Traditional methods are limited by scalability and precision. STIC, a single‐laser system for precise colloid manipulation and immobilization using femtosecond lasers, is introduced that enables efficient 3D ...

Accelerating Luminescence in Nanostructures: Exploring the Physical Limits and Impact of Ultrafast Emission in Nanoscale Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
This review highlights recent advances in accelerating luminescence in nanostructures through cooperative emission, resonator coupling, and nonlocal light–matter interactions. By unifying concepts such as excitonic superradiance, superfluorescence, and the plasmonic Purcell effect, it reveals physical limits of ultrafast emission and their potential ...
